Analysis of Thiol-ene Systems for Industrial Applications

     The first aspect to be studied in depth is the development of thiol-ene photopolymerizations for advanced applications with a specific focus on dental restorative materials and coating applications.  Studies on material properties and different mechanisms that are available are analyzed for future applications.  The second aspect is synthesis, evaluation, and development of ultrarapid (meth)acrylic monomer systems. This second project is a direct research collaboration with Cytec-Surface Specialties.
